In a world where breakups, single parenthood, and ominous medical diagnoses often knock us off our feet, Suzen Fromstein enters the ring with a unique perspective. Like a modern-day Erma Bombeck, she deftly uncovers comedic gems hidden within life’s darkest moments. Suzen’s witty tales reveal how humor became her secret weapon, turning her from a victim to a victor. As an author, speechwriter, and humorist, she invites you to join her in a journey through the laughter, the tears, and the quirks of her evolving life.

In addition to the resounding success of her recent book writing workshops, Suzen is thrilled to share that she has decided to take the plunge and add key note speaker to her service offerings. The inspiration for this journey struck after rejoining Toastmasters, followed by the overwhelming positive response to her speech before 150 attendees at “Once Upon a Woman” in September, 2023. Building on this momentum, Suzen is excited to announce her upcoming talk at “Spoken Lives” at Carrot Common on January 17, 2024.

Simultaneously, Suzen is deep into the creative process of crafting another book, this time an anthology! This collection of humorous articles fearlessly explores topics that might seem intimidating including dating, single parenting, confronting scary medical diagnoses, and the wild ride of personal growth. Anticipated launch of Punch Lines: May, 2024.

Prior to embarking upon her speaking and writing career, Suzen was the Director of Communications at The Investment Funds Institute of Canada (IFIC), the mutual fund industry’s trade association and taught business presentations skills at a local community college.

Before entering corporate life, Suzen owned and operated The Write Connections Inc. and worked with such notable organizations as ABN Amro, Colliers International, Desjardins Financial Security, Fidelity Investments, BMW Canada, and The Canadian Marketing Association. She offers her freelance writing and ghostwriting under the trade name Juicy Words.

Suzen has two adult sons, and three grandchildren, and lives in Markham, Ontario.
